Big Ideas for 2014

As 2013 winds down, tech media outlets are ramping up speculation about what's in store for 2014. A common theme among many predictions is the advent of the Internet of Things - a fundamental component of what makes FutureStructure possible. While it can be argued that it already exists, industry observers are increasingly united in their opinion that 2014 will be the year it gains a significant foothold in our everyday existence. Olaf Swantee, CEO of UK-based digital communications company EE, took to LinkedIn to share why he thinks 2014 will be the year that "society, business, people and objects are going to get smart and connected, and technology will get personal."
